Your Addins folder is probably in
MyDocuments/Visual Studio 2005/Addins as is standard
BUT if your
MyDocuments folder is on a network drive you’ll have issues, as VisualStudio will not load addins from a Network drive
Solution: store your addins folder on a local drive, and point VS to the folder
- Copy the folder locally
- go to
Tools >> Options >> Environment >> Addin/Macro Security
- add the path of your Addins folder
- restart VS
- go to
Tools >> Addins Managerand select the Addin
