Slider Text

The slider text is white by default, and can be hard to read on light images (conversely, dark text would be hard to read on dark images; there’s always a trade-off).

I added some custom CSS to give a bit of a drop-shadow:

Dashboard >> Appearance >> Theme Options >> Styling Options >> [scroll to bottom for] Custom CSS:

.flex-title span {
    text-shadow: 1px 1px 0.1em #333;
    filter: glow(color=black, strength=2);
}

Drop shadows are a bit ugly in IE
I used code suggested by http://www.impressivewebs.com/css3-text-shadow-ie/

Issues

I’ve run into some issues with icons in the footer, and elsewhere.
I’ve added to an existing ticket
